What is a Whitelist (AKA Safe Sender's List)
With so many emails being sent everyday, we know that many email and internet companies use programs to block unwanted email (AKA spam/junk). Sometimes, however, these well-meaning programs are a little overzealous and block the emails you actually DO want to read.
By adding our email address to your email whitelist you can ensure the best chance of receiving our content.
So what is a whitelist? Essentially it's a list of email addresses or domain names that you have given explicit permission to pass through the proverbial inbox gates.
Below you'll find instructions on how to add us to your whitelist .
How To Whitelist Our Emails & Appointment Messages
📱iPhone Mail and 🖥️💻Mac Mail
To add our email and our appointment reminders email to your whitelist on an iPhone, simply click on our email address or the appointment reminder one and copy the email address. You can then be add it into your contact list as a new or existing contact. You can also follow these steps with Mac Mail program.
Alternatively from the web you can add an iCloud Contact:
- Go to iCloud.com website
- Sign-in using your Apple ID
- Choose Contacts
- Once in Contacts, either locate an existing contact card you created or select the Add (+) button in the sidebar at the bottom, then choose New Contact
- Enter both email addresses [email protected]a and [email protected] into the contact information.
- Select Done
✉️Gmail
To keep our email messages out of your Gmail spam or promotions folder, you can add our email address to your Google Contacts but we recommend creating a filter rule which is more reliable in ensuring our messages are delivered where you want them - in your inbox.
To create a filter rule:
- Go to the Gmail website
- In the search field at the top, select the ⬇️ arrow
- In the From field, enter: [email protected] OR [email protected] ***be sure to include the word OR to capture all emails & appointment reminders.
- At the bottom of the search window, click Create Filter
- Select Never Send It To Spam
- If you found more emails in the process, you can choose: Also apply filter to # matching conversations
- Click Create Filter
To add us to your contact list:
- Locate our email and click on the subject line to open the email.
- Near the top right corner of the screen, press the button that has 3 vertical dots.
- Select the menu option “Add [email protected] to contacts list”.
- Our email address is now on your email whitelist.
- Repeat for our appointment messages using the email: [email protected]
✉️Yahoo Mail
- Select the gear shaped icon in the top right hand corner.
- Click Settings from the menu.
- Select Filters from the menu on the left-hand side.
- Click Add to add a new filter.
- Give the filter a name.
- Under Sender select Contains from the dropdown menu.
- Type in our email addresses ([email protected] and [email protected]) in the box to the right of the drop-down menu.
- At the bottom, where it says Then deliver the email to the following folder select Inbox.
- Click Save.
✉️Outlook for Office 365
Email addresses in your Outlook contacts are considered safe senders by the junk email filter.
To add us to your Safe Senders List using the web version of Outlook:
- Select the Settings icon (gear icon)
- Select View all Outlook Settings
- Select Mail
- Select Junk Email
- Enter [email protected] and [email protected]
- Select Add then Save
