Dr. Kayti Bates Graduated from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College where she obtained her Doctor of Chiropractic with clinical honours. She received her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Dalhousie University in Nova Scotia, and was actively involved within the academic community within the School of health and human performance as student president. She is a member of the Canadian Chiropractic Association, and in good standing with the Chiropractic College of Ontario.
Dr. Bates’ primary goal is to educate each patient about their condition and empower them to be leaders in their own health care. She incorporates a variety of manual therapy techniques to her practice, ranging from chiropractic adjustments, soft tissue release, and active rehabilitation. Dr. Bates’ is a certified strength and conditioning specialist (CSCS), Functional Range Conditioning Specialist, and Certified Precision Nutrition 1 Coach; and her extensive background in athletics and performance has taught her the importance of active rehabilitation maintaining a healthy and strong body.
Dr. Bates’ leads an active lifestyle, participating in weightlifting, crossfit, yoga and hiking, she is a former professional fitness model and strives to promote a combination of proper nutrition and physical activity to maintain strong functioning bodies and minds.
Dr. Bates is committed to continued education and is pursing further studies in contemporary medical acupuncture.
