Men's Sexual Health - Low Testosterone

Men’s sexual health is a topic that for many men is very difficult to discuss, but is a very important topic to address. More recently I have found men have made their sexual health top priority. Men’s health issues include man’s level of sexual fulfillment, erectile dysfunction, impotence, and libido. Good sexual health is an essential component of overall health and happiness.

The journal Archives of Internal Medicine published a recent study that looked at most men who have symptoms of low male hormone levels were not being treated. Androgens are male hormones, the best known is testosterone. It’s not routine to measure these hormones, often doctors wait for some type of symptoms before testing these hormones.

The symptoms of testosterone deficiency include fluid retention, prostate enlargement, worsening of a sleep disorder, osteoporosis, erectile dysfunction, or a low sex drive.
